Psychometric Testing: for staff selection and development
Discover your occupational interests, values, work personality and much more...

Taking a psychometric evaluation of your personality, ability, occupational interests, and values can be highly useful if you have reached a careers crossroad, or if you are trying to map out your future and determined to get it right first time. Dr Hunter-Hill uses a range of robust and approved tools to provide the best a detailed psychometric assessment. Dr Hunter-Hill is qualified to administer these tests and provides personalised feedback to her clients. Some of the tests she uses are listed below:
The Occupational Interest Personality (OIP)+ provides a comprehensive assessment of vocational interest and personal work needs. The 8 vocational interests identify work areas which an individual would enjoy, (e.g. administrative, computational, persuasive, practical), whereas the 8 work needs are related to the individual's personal needs within a chosen area of work (e.g.variety, structure, people, control).
The Morrisby Profile is an integrated set of twelve paper and pencil tests which assess aptitude and work based personality, providing you with a detailed 20-page report on your abilities and the sort of work setting that would suit you best. It will also generate a list of suggested career options based upon your abilities and interests. It is appropriate for users aged 15 years to adult.
Other tests include:
- Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI)
- Occupational Personality Profile
- Fifteen Factor Questionnaire +
- Values & Motives Inventory
- Work Attitude Inventory
The assessments are not like exams, so there is no pass or fail and no trick questions. A psychometric profile is based upon the relationship of these scores with each other, thus the profiles produced are more sophisticated than the type of personality assessments that are often found free on the internet.
The test can be taken online and or at our Vauxhall office and takes a little over 1 hour to complete. The report generally takes about 24 hours to process and we can make arrangements to book you in for a feedback session. This service includes a personalised feedback session of about 60 minutes, which can also be arranged via Zoom.
