Careers Advice and Guidance: find a career to suit your personality and interests
Whatever your career situation, Dr Hunter-Hill offers advice and consultation sessions which can be conducted from our offices along the Albert Embankment (Vauxhall) or via Zoom. We are a client-led service, therefore we will respond to your individual needs. However, we can discuss the following with you:
- helping you to explore your occupational interests
- engage in short or long term career planning
- how to make career transitions and explore your options
- information on your chosen career
- identifying appropriate educational and training routes
- making higher education applications (degrees, masters, and PhD,)
- discussing apprentiships
Following your advice/consultation session, you will be sent a personalised summary report of the key points discussed, and a mini-action plan with clear steps on how to move forward. Sometimes, one session will be sufficient for helping you to move forward with your career plans. However, you have the option to book a follow-up appointment.
